In partnership with the top ten 5 star hotels in London, Aro are delighted to launch the website 5ive Star London. The website is a unique proposition as it is an alliance of the finest 5 star hotels in London. The ten premier five star hotels in London in collaboration include; The Ritz, The Dorchester, The Lanesborough, One Aldywch, The Mandarin Oriental, The Stafford, Brown’s Hotel and 45 Park Lane. The Milestone and Goring have joined the group and will be live on the site within the next month. Aró were approached by the steering committee of 5ive star London with the vision of developing a website that would gain an online presence and becoming a one stop resource for consumers seeking luxury hotels in London.
The brands identity and visual presentation of the site unequivocally communicates the unique offering of each property and justifies the tag line “The Best There Is”. The website acts as a resource hub for the discerning luxury traveler to plan their trip to London.
The website also showcases a repertoire of services within the hotel that would be relevant to the luxury consumer. The next phase of the project is to develop a partners section which will include luxury stores, theatres, galleries and other services that will ad a unique dimension to the site.
There are 5ive unique features currently on the website. The random sort order in the hotels section ensures equal brand visibility for each hotel. Every time the page loads it rotates the hotels, naturally re-ordering the index. The filtering option in each section shows hotels visually sorting, based on the filter selection without reloading the page. In the London section a module has been created that allows the visitor to explore London as a tourist destination but also identifies each hotels’ proximity to each attraction. A newly developed photo gallery module exhibits images in a postcard visual display. Each hotel has complete control over their content using AroBIS (Aro’s content management system) and all content and imagery is completely editable from AroBIS.
